Welcome to Robertson Backpackers

Rated by the Rough Guide 2008 as "one of the best backpackers
in the Western Cape"

On Route 62 - The longest wine route in the world

Nestled between the Langeberg Mountains and the great Breede River lies the quaint town of Robertson. Well known for its thoroughbred race horses and superb wine farms. Here you will find the warm and friendly hospitality of Robertson Backpackers.

Your well travelled hosts, Kevin & Lynda, have turned an old Victorian farm house, dating back to the 1880's, into a comfortable and spacious Backpackers. A lot of care has been taken to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are big and airy with high ceilings and all the beds have comfortable duvets and pillows.

The lush garden with stunning mountain views, comes alive at night with intimate lamps and lanterns. The Moroccan room, has a certain mystique about it, with its low-down couches & cushions, candles, lanterns, incense and fireplace. A great place to have a drink, smoke a Hubbly Bubbly and listen to cool African sounds.

Only a two hour drive away from Cape Town and with lots to do in the area you will want to stay longer.

Rated one of the best Backpackers in South Africa

So if you want to get away from the rat-race or indulge in some country activities, then this is the place to be.
